Das Gemälde wurde per Rückstellungsbescheid der Finanzlandesdirektion vom 23.9.1947 zur Restitution bestimmt und am 23.10.1947 Louis Rothschilds bevollmächtigtem Vertreter übergeben (BDA-Archiv, Restitutionsmaterialien, K. 52/1, M. 1, Zl. 5738/47, fol. 25).
