Additional information

Das Geschenkmedaillon der steirischen Stände aus dem Jahr 1588 war ursprünglich für das Kunsthistorische Museum Wien vorgesehen (BDA-Archiv, Restitutionsmaterialien, K. 51, M. 4). Die mit 13.6.1940 datierte und von Posse korrigierte Liste zur Neuverteilung sah das Medaillon jedoch für das Kunstgewerbemuseum in Graz vor (heute Kulturhistorische Sammlung am Universalmuseum Joanneum), wo es 1941 inventarisiert wurde.

Die Rückstellung des Medaillons an Clarisse Rothschild, Erbin nach Alphonse Rothschild, erfolgte 1947 (vgl. BDA-Archiv, Restitutionmaterialien, K. 53, M. 4, Zl. 7991/47 u. 5907/48).
